Recipe 150- Fabulous Strawberry Jam

 Good morning!
This is just perfect! You should eat the jam within a week, while it is fresh.
Otherwise you have to use sterilized jars to store the jam safely.

Ingredients

4 cups strawberries hulled
4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Place the strawberries in a blender and ..blend them up! Add the sugar and lemon juice and continue blending.
Pour the mixture into a pan and heat over medium high temperature until it starts boiling. Simmer and let cook for 10 minutes. Stir frequently and remove the foam from top. Ready!

Keep it in a glass container refrigerated for 1 week. Or use the sterilized jars and keep it for as long as you like.

Recipe 149- Strawberry Sorbet

Good morning!
Today we have something very yummy yummy!
 Easy to make and healthy treat for all the family!

Ingredients

2 cups strawberries
2 cups water
1 cup sugar

Blend all ingredients together in a blender. Divide the mixture into individual cup cakes and freeze overnight.

Recipe 148- Spicy Beef and cheese Dip

Hello.
I love this dip!

Ingredients

500 gr minced beef
3 tomatoes chopped
2 chilly peppers chopped
2 cups milk cream
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon red wine

In a frying pan preheat the butter over medium temperature. Cook the beef for 5 minutes, then pour in the wine. Add the tomatoes, peppers and salt. Reduce the temperature to sim and cook for 30 minutes. Just before serving add the milk cream and mix well until you have a thick mixture. Incredible!

Recipe 147- Varenika ( mini cheese pies )

Good morning everybody!
These cheese pies are awesome!

Ingredients

5 cups flour
1 1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
2 cups feta cheese cut in small pieces
2 cups butter melted

In a bowl combine the flour, water, salt and pepper. Knead well until you have a smooth dough. Take small portions of dough, punch down and fill them with feta. Make sure you close tide the small pies so they will not open while boiling.
In a large pot, put 3 liters of water, 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil and bring them to boil. Boil the cheese pies for 35 minutes and then place them on a kitchen paper to drain. Pour over the butter. Serve while hot. You will love them.

Recipe 146- Incredible Vegetable Soup

This recipe is easy and makes an excellent dinner choice for all the family.

Ingredients

2 zucchini cut in slices
2 carrots cut in slices
1 tomato chopped
1 onion chopped
1 clove of garlic chopped
1 cup rice
1/2 cup butter
5 cups water
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
salt/pepper to taste

In a deep pan preheat the butter over medium temperature. Saute the onion and garlic for 3 minutes, then add the other vegetables and seasonings.
Allow to cook for 5 minutes. Pour in the water and bring to boil. Reduce the heat and boil for 30 minutes. Add the rice and boil another 15 minutes. Ready to serve!
You can add some fresh lemon juice or a tablespoon of mayonnaise just before serving for extra flavor.

Recipe 145- Nadine's Baked Eggs

Good morning.
Fancy something special for breakfast today?

Ingredients

3 eggs
1 cup milk
1/4 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Blend all ingredients together, then pour the mixture into a greased shallow baking pan.
Bake at 425 F for 20 minutes. Let cool and turn out onto a dish. Great!

Recipe 144- Shrimps with creamy sauce

 Good morning.
A very easy and healthy recipe, ideal for appetizer.

Ingredients

12 shrimps boiled, peeled and cut in pieces
1 cup sour cream
1 cup philadelphia cheese
1/2 cup mayonaise
juice from 1 lemon
1 tablespoon capers
1 tablespoon green onions chopped
salt/pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in a blender and.. simply blend!
Pour the mixture into a bowl, cover with wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Serve cold with bread, chips or crackers.

Recipe 143- Cinnamon and Honey Bread

Yummy! This bread  is irresistible!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups white flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon dry yeast
1 egg beaten
2/3 cup water warm
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup raisins
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon butter melted

In a bowl mix together the white and whole wheat flour. Add the salt, yeast and cinnamon.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium temperature and pour in the water, honey and raisins. Stir well until it starts boiling. Remove from heat and pour into the bowl. Mix with dry ingredients adding the egg, until you have a smooth dough. Cover with wrap for 30 minutes.
Knead down again, then shape into a loaf and place in a greased bread pan. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 375 F and bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Smells good!

Recipe 142- Incredible sauce

This sauce is unique!
You can serve it with baked potatoes, rice or tortilla chips.

Ingredients

2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup black olives cut in slices
1 cup green olives cut in slices
2 cups feta cheese cut on cubes
1 tablespoon fresh onion chopped
salt/pepper to taste

Place the sauce in a pan and heat over medium temperature. Add the olives, salt and pepper and mix well.
Add the cheese and stir until it melts. Remove from heat. Pour the sauce in a bowl and sprinkle with onion. Serve hot.

Recipe 141- Stuffed Zucchini

Good morning!
This incredible recipe makes a great appetizer.
You can add some minced beef and you have a delicious dinner!

Ingredients

4 large zucchini cut lengthwise
1 tomato chopped
1 onion chopped
3 eggs
8 slices of Graviera Kritis
1/2 cup olive oil
salt/pepper to taste
200 gr minced beef optional

Scoop out the center of the zucchini with seeds and keep it.
Preheat oil in a pan over medium temperature.
Add the onion, tomato, center of zucchini and beef. Cook for 5 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 325 F.
Place the zucchini in a baking pan and drizzle with some oil, salt and pepper.
Beat the eggs and add to the pan with vegetables and beef. Mix well.
Stuff each half of zucchini with this mixture.
Bake uncovered for 30 min, then cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
Uncover, place the slices of cheese on top of each zucchini and broil for 1 minute.
Ready!

Recipe 140- Grilled Bananas

Good morning. This is awesome!

Ingredients

4 bananas peeled
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon water
chocolate sauce to taste

Place bananas in a baking pan.
Heat the butter in a pan over medium temperature. Stir in the sugar, cinnamon and water and cook for 2 minutes. Pour the mixture over the bananas and broil to Hi for 3 minutes.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve immediately.

Recipe 139- Baked Artichokes

Good morning. If you like artichokes this recipe is for you!

Ingredients

2 jars marinated artichokes
1 onion finely chopped
1 clove garlic chopped
3 eggs beaten
1/4 bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
1 teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon parsley chopped
1 cup yellow cheese shredded

Cut the artichokes into cubes.
Heat the marinade in a pan over medium temperature and add the onion and garlic.
Allow to cook for 5 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 325 F.
In a bowl mix together the eggs with salt, pepper, tabasco, parsley, oregano and bread crumbs. Stir in the artichokes, cheese, onion and garlic.
Place the mixture in a baking pan and bake for 35 minutes.

Recipe 138- Fabulous Salad Dressing

Ingredients

juice from 1 orange
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt/pepper to taste

In a bowl mix together all the ingredients. Ready to pour over your favorite salad.

Recipe 137- Marinated Potatoes

Just yummy yummy!

Ingredients

5 potatoes cut in wedges
juice from 4 lemons
1 cup olive oil
garlic salt/pepper/oregano to taste

Place the wedges in an oven proof bowl and pour in the lemon juice and oil. Sprinkle with the seasonings.
Refrigerate over night. Preheat oven to 425 F and bake the potatoes for 45-55 minutes.

Recipe 136- Broiled Tomatoes

Hello.

This is an amazing appetizer.

Ingredients

4 tomatoes cut in thick slices
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups yellow cheese of your choice
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
garlic salt and pepper to taste

Place the tomato slices on a baking pan, brush with oil, sprinkle some of the seasonings and broil at Hi for 2 minutes.
Turn upside down, brush with oil again and sprinkle the rest of seasonings and cheese.
Broil for 5 minutes. This is it!

Recipe 135- Fruit Salad

After a long time I am finally back on track!
You should try this recipe. Easy, healthy and delicious!

Ingredients

1 small papaya cut in cubes
1 pineapple cut in cubes
white grapes
5 strawberries
1 banana cut in slices
1 apple cut in cubes
1 pear cut in cubes

Put all the fruits in a big bowl. Pour in 1 tablespoon of strawberry liqueur and refrigerate over night.
Serve with whipped cream.

Recipe 134- Graviera cheese bisquits

This recipe is incredible!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons butter melted
1 1/2 cups graviera from Crete shredded
3/4 cup milk

Preheat the oven to 425  F.
Mix together all the ingredients until you have a smooth dough.
Take small portions and form  the bisquits.
Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 20 min or until golden brown.

Recipe 133- Couscous with vegetables

This is just awesome!

Ingredients

3 onions chopped
1 green pepper chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
1 tablespoon coriander
1 tablespoon red pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 cups cooked couscous
2 cups feta cheese cut in pieces

In a large pan preheat the oil over medium temperature. Add the onions, pepper, tomatoes, coriander, pepper, salt and juice. Cook for 15 min.
Place the couscous on a plate, pour the vegetable sauce on top and sprinkle with feta.

Recipe 132- Nadine's Curry Chicken



This is awesome!
A taste of India blended with a taste of Greece, yummy!

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts cut in pieces
1 onion chopped
4 potatoes cut in pieces
1 green pepper chopped
2 cloves of garlic chopped
2 tablespoons masala powder
2 tablespoons curry powder
1 teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoons salt
3 cups water
2 tablespoons olive oil

Preheat the oil over medium high temperature in a deep pan.
Add the chicken, pepper and onion and cook for 5 min.
In a bowl mix together the cumin, curry, masala, garlic, salt. Stir the mixture into the pan. Add the potatoes and the water. Bring them to boil and reduce the heat to sim. Allow to cook for 1 hour. Ready!

Recipe 131- Baked greek sausages

This is simply delicious!

Ingredients

500 gr minced beef
250 gr minced pork
1/2 cup parsley chopped
1 chilly pepper chopped
1/4 cup red wine
1/2 cup yellow cheese shredded
salt/pepper to taste

In a bowl combine all the ingredients.
Make small balls from the mixture place them on a baking sheet and broil at HI temperature for 30 min.

Recipe 130- Fantastic King Fish Fillet

Hi. This is a nice recipe for a healthy family dinner.

Ingredients

4 pieces king fish fillet
5 potatoes cut in pieces
1 cup olive oil
lemon juice from 2 lemons
2 teaspoons oregano
2 teaspoons basil
salt/ pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 355F (180C).
In a big bowl put the potatoes and pour in the oil. Mix well and add the lemon juice, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
Wash the fillets with water and put some salt and pepper on each side.
Place the potatoes and fish in a baking pan and bake for 1 hour. Delicious!

Recipe 129- Prawn Mousse

This is the perfect way to impress your dinner guests!

Ingredients

1 kg prawns boiled, without the shell
5 eggs beaten
250 gr milk cream
salt/pepper

Preheat the oven to 355 F (180C).
Mix all the ingredients into a blender.
Grease small baking pans (like the ones you use to bake muffins).
Pour the mixture into the pans (4-5).
Place them into a large and deep baking pan and pour inside this pan hot water.
Bake for 30 min. Yummy!

Recipe 128- Pears with strawberry sauce

This delicious recipe is so easy to make and it's the healthiest choice if you are desperate for dessert!

Ingredients

4 pears peeled
1 glass water
juice from 1 lemon

For the sauce

250 gr strawberries
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon strawberry liqueur

Place the pears into a deep pan with the water and pour in the juice. Bring to boil then reduce the heat and let cook for 15 min. Put the pears in a plate.
Put the strawberries in the blender and blend them.
In another pan place the blended strawberries, sugar and liqueur and heat over medium temperature. Just before the sauce starts boiling remove from heat and pour over the pears.
Looks awesome? Yes!

Recipe 127- Easy cheese dressing

Good morning!
This is a quick recipe you can prepare for your meat, baked potatoes or vegetables (especially broccoli).

Ingredients

3 cups milk cream
1 cup graviera from Crete shredded (or another hard and salty cheese)

Pour the milk cream into a pan and heat over medium temperature. When it starts to boil add the cheese and cook over low temperature for 5 min.
Done!

Grease a large baking pan and pour in the mixture. Bake for 1 hour or until golden brown.

Recipe 125- Chocolate Pie

Good morning!
This is something you don't want to prepare if you are on a diet!

Ingredients

1 cup butter melted
1 cup sugar
1 cup chocolate chunks
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 eggs
icing sugar or nutella for topping

Preheat the oven to 430 F (220C).
In a bowl mix together the butter and sugar. It is better to use an electric blender. Gradually add the eggs and the flour. Stir in the baking powder and chocolate chunks.
Grease a baking pan (medium) and pour in the mixture.
Bake for 45 min. Looks awesome!
Sprinkle the sugar or the nutella.

This is a very tasty cheese bread. Easy to make and delicious.

Ingredients

4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup butter melted
5 eggs
1 cup plain yogurt
3 cups feta cheese shredded

Preheat the oven to 400F (200C).
In a big bowl beat the eggs and the yogurt. Pour in the butter. Add the baking powder and gradually add the flour and cheese. Knead well until you have a smooth dough. Divide it into 3 small balls and punch them down. Place them on a baking sheet and bake them for about 1 hour or until golden brown. Smells great!

Recipe 123- Glazed chicken breasts

This is so tasty!

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts cut in cubes
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic chopped
1 pear chopped
1/2 cup red wine
2 teaspoons  worcestershire sauce
1 cup milk cream
salt/pepper to taste

Preheat the butter in a deep pan over medium temperature. Add the chicken, garlic and wine. Cook for 5 min then add the pear and sauce.
Bring to boil. Reduce the temperature to sim and cook for 40 min. In the end pour in the milk cream, bring to boil and cook for another 5 min.
Serve immediately.

Recipe 122- Nadine's Garlic Spaghetti

Hello.
This is a very easy and tasty recipe.

Ingredients

500 gr spaghetti cooked al dente
5 cloves garlic finely chopped
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons white wine
1 cup olive oil
1 cup kaseri from Crete shredded
salt/pepper to taste

In a pan preheat the oil over medium temperature and put the garlic. Cook for 5 min, then pour in the wine. Add the tomato paste, salt and pepper. bring to boil and reduce the heat. Allow to cook for 30 min. Stir in the cheese.
Pour the sauce on top of the spaghetti. Excellent!

Recipe 121- Awesome coconut cookies

This recipe is easy to make and very very tasty (if you like coconut!).

Ingredients

500 gr coconut powder
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla powder

Preheat the oven to 350 F (180C).
In a bowl beat together the eggs and the sugar. Add the coconut and vanilla powder. Mix well. Take small amounts of mixture and form balls. Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 min. They small so nice and they are so delicious!
